- Thirdly, because, in an effort to gain more energy - having low energy encourages you to consume things that aren’t good for your Health… things like Coffee (Caffeine), and High-Carb, Sugary Snacks that temporarily ‘Spike’ your Energy Levels.

In no particular order…
#1. Lower Your Stress Levels
"FACT: Too Much Stress is an 'Energy Killer'!"
If you’re like 99.99% of people - you probably feel STRESS on a consistent basis. It’s just part of being a HUMAN in the 21st Century.
Thing is though…
Some stress is ok. You’re designed to be able to handle some stress.
However, when you’re stress levels get out of hand, it negatively effects your Health in multiple ways. And, usually - it KILLS your Energy Levels too.
So, if you want High Energy Levels - and good overall health - it’d be wise to do something, on a regularly (and, preferably daily) basis, to reduce your Stress Levels.
Good options include:
- Deep Breathing
- Gentle Exercise
- Listening to Relaxing Music
#2: Get Adequate Sleep Every Night
The better you sleep, the more Energy you’ll have. All other things being equal.
And yet, unfortunately - most people don't sleep particularly well.
The ideal is to get at least 7-8 hours of UNINTERRUPTED sleep per night. If you’re not currently achieving that, give some of the following tips a try:
- Make your bedroom pitch black, and cool
- Go to bed before midnight
- Within an hour of going to bed, do a little meditation, and take a warm shower
#3: Hydrate Yourself
A measly 2% drop in Hydration Levels, can lead to a whopping 20% drop in performance.
So, if you want to perform at a high level - and enjoy high Energy Levels - you need to be hydrated.
The best way to do that is to drink at least 2 liters of water a day.
#4: Eat a Natural, Unprocessed Diet

Go eat a Large Burger and Fries at your favourite Fast Food Store. Have a Large Soda with it. And ‘wash it all down’ with a couple of desserts.
How do you feel?
If you’re like most people - you’ll feel bloated, and lethargic after a big, processed meal like that.
Now try something different:
Have a meal made up of Natural, Unprocessed foods - Wild Alaskan Salmon, Potatoes and Asparagus. Or, Grass Fed Steak, Broccoli and Cauliflower. Or, a Vegetable Omelette.
How does THAT make you feel?
Likely energised and ready to kick-ass.
Put the wrong FUEL in your car, and it BREAKS.
Same goes for the Human Body!...
Wrong Fuel = Low Performance (and low energy).
If you want High Energy - you have to eat Natural, Unprocessed Foods (at least most of the time). It really is that simple.
#5: Exercise Regularly
"Exercising Regularly Can Improve Your Energy Levels - so Long as You Don't Exhaust Yourself!"
Although exercise can drain you, and leave you tired - IF you overdo it, and push too hard - regular exercise will improve your Energy Levels.
If you haven’t exercised in a while - just try going for a short walk every day.
And, if you are a regular exerciser - just make sure you don’t exhaust yourself (because that’ll have a negative effect on your energy levels).
Find a happy medium, and: Regular Exercise = Better Energy Levels (and better Health, and Physical Appearance!)
#6: Find Your Passion, and Become Inspired
I know some people who have INCREDIBLE energy - despite doing all the wrong things!
They don’t sleep enough…
They eat badly…
They rarely exercise…
Yet, they’re FULL OF ENERGY.
Well, all these people have one thing in common… they’ve found their true passion, and they spend the vast majority of their time working on it!
You see, when you find your PASSION - it inspires you… it motivates you… and, it really freakin’ energizes you!
Of course, the ideal is to do all the other points in this article, AND find your true passion - and then you might just end up being a ‘World Beater!’
#7: Consume More Salt (YES, really… )
There’s a lot of confusing advice going on right now, about salt.
Here in England, the Government recommendation seems to be to Cut Back on Salt.
But, that’s too simplistic a point of view!
You see, White Refined Table Salt - like that found in nearly all processed food - is TOXIC. It’s absolute garbage and you should avoid it like the plague.
However, real salt is actually essential for good health! (And Energy).
In Roman times they used to pay their soldiers a portion of their ‘Salary’ in SALT! YES… Salt was that valuable! It’s how the world ‘salary’ came about!!!
Anyhow, if you want High Energy Levels - eat a natural, unprocessed diet, and then add some real salt to your food and water each day.
In the mid-afternoon, when your energy levels usually slump, try this:
- 500ml water, 1/4 tsp real salt, lemon to taste
Drink that down and notice how you feel.
High Energised is likely going to be your answer! ;)
#8: Fix ‘Toxic Relationships’
There’s nothing more draining… and nothing that’ll DESTROY your Energy Levels faster… than Toxic Relationships.
If you want Higher Energy Levels, you have 2 choices as far as Toxic Relationships go:
i. Fix ‘em
ii. End ‘em
#9: Avoid Over-Eating
Even if you eat all the right foods, it’s still possible to screw up your Energy Levels (and pile on the pounds), if you OVER-EAT.
Over-eating puts a ton of stress on your Digestive System. And, instead of your body letting you have the Energy you need to do the things you want to do - it ends up having to use vast amounts of your Energy just digesting food instead.
If over-eating is a problem for you, try these tips:
- Eat only when you are hungry
- Chew your food thoroughly, and become ‘in tune’ with when you are really no longer hungry. STOP eating at this point
- Drink a glass of water before you eat
- Drink a glass of water shortly after you eat
#10: Stop Eating 4 Hours Before Going to Bed

Here’s a tip that’ll help you sleep better - and therefore, improve your energy levels…
While also improving your sex-life!
Stop eating within 4 hours of going to bed.
Do that and you’ll sleep better, because you won't be laying down with a belly full of food.
Also, as a man, erection quality is so much better when you don’t have a belly full of food.
So, how about this:
- Dinner at 6pm
- Go to bed at 10pm
- Have great sex ;)
- Fall asleep at 11pm
