If You’d Like to Feel ‘Switched On,’ Focused and Ready to Have An Awesome and Productive Day, within 15 Minutes of Waking Up - Here’s How to Do It…

In this blog post, you’re going to discover the ‘Morning Routine’ I use to ensure I have High Energy and incredible Productivity. I do this ‘Morning Routine’ every single day, without fail - and the result is that within just a few minutes of waking up, I feel:

  • Energised
  • Mentally Focused and Sharp
  • Ready to have a Great Day

Contrast this with how 95% of people feel in the mornings…

They wake up groggy, and hit ‘Snooze’ on their Alarm Clocks several times, before reluctantly dragging themselves out of bed.

They feel the need to drink Coffee, and eat a High Carb (sugar-rich) breakfast to give them the feeling of ENERGY that they desire.

But, it doesn’t really work…

Because, by mid-morning, they’re usually craving more Coffee… and more High-Carb, Sugary Foods (because they feel flat, and low on energy again).

Worse Still…

For most people - this cycle of ‘Spiking Their Energy’ (with Coffee, Caffeine, Carbs, and Sugar), and then having it CRASH, repeats throughout the day.

The end result?

For many people it’s 10-15 cups of Coffee (or other caffeinated beverages a day)… a diet high in Carbs, Sugar and Calories (yet low in Nutrition)… and, a waistline several inches beyond what is optimal for Health or Aesthetics!


There’s a strong, and scientifically proven connection, between being overweight and having many kinds of diseases - including Diabetes (which can lead to Blindness, Amputations and Erectile Dysfunction) and Heart Disease (which can, of course, be fatal - and is the #1 Killer in the Western World).

Not good.

Anyhow, I’m not here to dwell too much on how most people ‘get it wrong.’ Instead, I want to show you how to:

  • Supercharge your Energy Levels


  • Become Lazer-Focused Mentally, and Super Productive

And, to do it, all you have to do is try my simple ‘Morning Routine.’

Here it is…

How to Feel Energised When You Wake Up In The Mornings…

"Most People Wake Up Groggy and Go Straight for the Coffee. But Is It The Best Idea?"

After going to the bathroom, head straight to the kitchen and get yourself some CLEAN DRINKING WATER.

Tap water is no good - cuz it’s full of toxicity (do your own Google Research to see what I mean!)

And, Plastic Bottled Water is a poor choice, because the plastic leaches into the water and plays havoc with your Hormones (specifically… raising Estrogen and lowering Testosterone - neither of which are good things).

What does that leave you with?

Well, the easiest option is Glass Bottled Spring Water.

Though, you could go on and find a local spring near to where you live. The benefit being you can get FREE and High Quality Water - the downside being… it costs you in TIME.

A third option is to get a Distiller.

Then simply distill your tap water. Which gets rid of all the toxicity (which is great), but leaves you with water that’s quite acidic and lacking any minerals (which is not so great).

The ‘fix’ is to put the water outside, in sunlight, for a few hours. This remineralises the water! Credit to my buddy Cowboy Don Tolman for this one (he’s a health genius - and has had this water ‘trick’ scientifically proven).

Anyhow, whatever water you choose, drink 500ml to 1000ml (1/2 to 1 litre) when you wake up.

You don’t have to drink it all at once! You can sip it over the course of 20-60 minutes if you like. It’s not a race :)

What it is, is a way to HYDRATE your body. And, if you want to have High Energy Levels - you must be hydrated (Note: a 2% drop in hydration can lead to a 20% drop in performance).

In between drinking your water, at some point, take 30 deep ‘Belly Breaths.’ Try breathing in for 3 seconds, then out for 3 seconds. Focusing on your belly moving in and out (as opposed to your shoulders and chest expanding and contracting).

This way of breathing is extremely healthy, and very energising.

Water + Belly Breathing = ENERGY.

Remember that!

Once you’ve had your water, and done your Belly Breathing, then it’s time for:

Breakfast - How to Do It for Massive Energy…

Most people eat a High-Carb, High Sugar Breakfast.

Think about all the typical ‘American Breakfast Foods’ and you’ll see what I mean…

  • Concentrated Fruit Juice
  • Breakfast Cereals
  • Pastries
  • Bread
  • Jams
  • Marmalades

It’s all High-Carb. It’s all High in REFINED Sugar.

It’s all LOW in NUTRITION - yet high in Calories.

And, when you eat like that, despite consuming too many calories, you usually feel hungry not long after, because you’ve deprived your body of what it’s really craving:


Note: Sick as it is… the huge multi-national companies producing this food know this is how it works. They know processed, sugary food is highly addictive. And, it’s a great business model for them!

Now, pay attention:

If you want real energy, that lasts all the way to lunchtime, you need to eat a breakfast LOWER in CARBS (and Sugar), and higher in Protein and Healthy Fats.

The most obvious choice is:


"Eggs with Veggies make a Great Breakfast if You Want High Energy"

The Egg White is high in Protein. The Egg Yolk is high in Fat.

Have them with some veggies and you have a great breakfast.

Finish with a bowl of fruit if you need some carbs. (Fruit is fine because it’s natural and unprocessed).

Another option is to have Grass Fed Steak or Wild Alaskan Salmon. Both of which are high in Protein and Healthy Fats. Cook ‘em in Coconut Oil (which is great for burning body-fat, and increasing energy), serve with veggies, and you have another great breakfast.

A final option - and a personal favourite of mine - is to have a Smoothie. Something simple that works would be:

  • Raw Milk or Almond Milk
  • 1 scoop Grass Fed Whey Protein
  • Barley Grass
  • A pinch of Sea Salt
  • Raw Honey to taste
  • Coconut Oil or Nut Butter

That’ll taste GREAT.

And keep you energised for HOURS.

Let’s Re-Cap…

"Hydration + Deep Breathing + a High Protein/Fat Breakfast = High Energy Levels"

If you want to have High Energy in the Mornings, and throughout the day, you HAVE TO start your day wisely.

What most people do in the mornings - coffee, carbs and sugar - isn’t very effective. And, it leads to weight gain, and energy levels that fluctuate dramatically throughout the day.

It also leads to addictions - to caffeine and sugar.

None of which is even remotely healthy.

If you want to feel REAL ENERGY, in the mornings and throughout the day, try this:

  • Drink 500-1000ml (1/2 to 1 litre) of CLEAN WATER when you wake up
  • Take 30 Deep Belly Breaths (breathing in for 3 seconds and out for 3 seconds)
  • Have a Breakfast Higher in Protein and Fat (eggs are a great choice)

Now, that’s a great start to your day - and should help you feel ENERGISED (especially if you stick to it for a while and give it a real shot. A 30 Day Challenge springs to mind - try it for 30 days before deciding whether or not it works for you!)

However, the truth is that having High Energy is no guarantee of a highly PRODUCTIVE day.

So, to finish, I’ll give you:

>> Do your most important task FIRST in the day.

Sounds simple. And, it is - but that doesn’t stop it being incredibly effective.

Because, when you do what’s MOST IMPORTANT first thing in your day - even if the rest of your day doesn’t go to plan, you still end up having a pretty solid day! :)
